The garden, the hens and more...

Here we aim to live a life of creativity, in tune with the elements and the seasons.

We grow much of our own organic produce in two poly tunnels – from strawberries to spinach – and sell any surplus from the door.

We planted native woodland trees including willows to provide shelter and ultimately supply fuel for our wood burning stove.

In addition to opening the house as a gallery, we hold Open Days to display a wide range of works in the house including homemade produce, and encourage visitors to tour the garden where they’ll encounter a variety of sculptures.

There are hens to visit too, including rare Scots Greys which we breed and sell from time to time. We sell eggs to regular customers and from the door.

Star of the show is Ash, our chocolate Labrador. Two years old in August 2006, she has boundless energy and curiosity, but still likes nothing better than to steal peas and strawberries and to flake out on the grass on a sunny day. For Ash’s view on life click here to read her online diary.
